Platify 25mg Tablet contains Eltrombopag, which is used to treat low platelet counts in certain conditions, such as chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), hepatitis C-related thrombocytopenia, or severe aplastic anemia. Eltrombopag stimulates the bone marrow, which aids in boosting platelet synthesis. It is a anticoagulant medication.

Mechanism of Action :
An agonist of the thrombopoietin receptor is eltrombopag. It causes the bone marrow’s thrombopoietin receptors to become more active, which increases platelet synthesis. This keeps the platelet count in a healthy range, which lowers the chance of bleeding.

Storage:

Keep out of direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture. Store at room temperature, which is between 20°C and 25°C. Keep it out of children’s reach and in its original container.

How to Use this Medication ?
Eltrombopag is taken once a day at the same time on an empty stomach, either one hour before or two hours after meals. Pay close attention to your prescription and take it exactly as prescribed by your physician.

Take the tablets whole. Never break, chew, or crush them and then add them to drinks or meals.

In addition to eltrombopag, you might also be prescribed other drugs to treat persistent ITP.
