Emrok 800mg Injection

Emrok 800mg Injection contains Levonadifloxacin, a broad-spectrum antibiotic belonging to the fluoroquinolone class. Levonadifloxacin is used primarily to treat serious bacterial infections, especially those caused by resistant Gram-positive pathogens, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).

Mechanism of Action :
Levonadifloxacin is a novel fluoroquinolone that works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, essential enzymes for bacterial DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination. This dual inhibition effectively kills bacteria and prevents the spread of infection.

Uses :

• Acute Bacterial Skin and Skin Structure Infections (ABSSSI)
• Community-Acquired Bacterial Pneumonia

Dosage and Administration :
800 mg administered intravenously once daily over 60 minutes. The dosage and duration depend on the type and severity of the infection and patient response.

How to use this Medication ?
As prescribed by your physician, this drug is administered intravenously once day for a minimum of one hour. Your condition and reaction to treatment will determine the dosage and duration of treatment. The dosage for kids is also determined by their weight.

Even if symptoms go away in a few days, keep taking this medication until the entire recommended dosage is completed. An infection could recur if the treatment is stopped too soon.
