Tacrograf 0.5mg Capsule contains tacrolimus, an immunosuppressive medication used primarily to prevent organ rejection in patients who have undergone a kidney, liver, or heart transplant. In order to stop the immune system from attacking the transplanted organ, it suppresses it.

Tacrograf 0.5mg Capsule contains tacrolimus, an immunosuppressive medication used primarily to prevent organ rejection in patients who have undergone a kidney, liver, or heart transplant. In order to stop the immune system from attacking the transplanted organ, it suppresses it.
Mechanism of Action :
Tacrolimus suppresses the enzyme calcineurin, which is implicated in immune system T-cell activation. Tacrolimus prevents organ rejection by lowering the immune response through blocking this route.

Dosage and Administration :
The capsule should be swallowed whole with water, not crushed or chewed. Usually taken once daily in the morning on an empty stomach.

How to use this Medication ?
Tacrolimus comes in various forms and should be taken as directed, with immediate-release capsules taken twice daily and extended-release forms taken once daily on an empty stomach. Always take tacrolimus at the same time each day as directed by your doctor.
Do not split, chew, or crush the extended-release capsules; instead, swallow them whole with water. The immediate-release capsules should not be opened or crushed.
