How does a Geftib 250mg Tablet work?
EGFR tyrosine kinase is involved in signaling pathways that regulate cell migration, survival and proliferation. Gefitinib is a selective inhibitor of EGFR. Gefitinib blocks this route, and can prevent the growth of cancer cells.
How to Use & Dosage
Take this medicine by mouth with a full glass of water. Follow the directions on the medicine label. It may be taken with or without food. Take your medication on schedule. Do not take it more frequently than prescribed. Do not discontinue use except on advice of your physician. If you have trouble taking the tablets tell your doctor, chemist or other healthcare provider. They can counsel you.
Discuss use of this medicine in children with your pediatrician. may need to be extra careful.
250mg once daily, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not break or chew the tablet.
