Lenangio 5mg capsule

Lenangio 5mg Capsule contains the active ingredient Lenalidomide and is primarily indicated for the treatment of certain blood cancers, including multiple myeloma and myelodysplastic syndromes.

How does the Lenangio 5mg Capsule work?

Lenalidomide works through multiple mechanisms to help treat certain blood cancers. It enhances the body’s immune response by increasing the activity of T-cells and Natural Killer (NK) cells, helping them attack cancer cells more effectively.

It also has anti-angiogenic properties, preventing the formation of new blood vessels that tumors require for growth and survival. In addition, Lenalidomide directly induces apoptosis (programmed cell death) in malignant cells, helping reduce the tumour burden. These combined actions make Lenalidomide an effective treatment for several hematological malignancies.

How to Use & Dosage

The usual starting dose is 5mg once daily, although your doctor may adjust the dose based on your response to treatment and tolerability. It may be taken with or without food.

Swallow the capsule whole. Do not crush, chew, or break it.

Always follow your doctor’s prescribed treatment cycle, as dosing schedules may vary depending on your condition. Avoid opening the capsule. If the powder accidentally comes into contact with your skin, wash the affected area immediately with soap and water.

🍺 Alcohol

It is not known whether alcohol interacts with Lenangio 5mg Capsule. Please consult your healthcare provider before consuming alcohol.

Storage Instructions

Store at room temperature between 15°C and 30°C (59°F to 86°F). Keep the capsules in the original container to protect them from moisture and light. Keep out of the reach of children.
