How does the Leugard 11.25mg Depot Injection work?

Leuprolide causes the body to produce very high amounts of certain hormones naturally (like oestrogen or testosterone). This initially causes a surge, followed by a sharp drop in levels.


How to Use & Dosage

11.25 mg depot injection is generally administered once every three months (12 weeks) for long-acting release. It is administered by subcutaneous or intramuscular injection by a medical practitioner.

Depending on the product and timeline, a medical expert will inject Leugard 11.25 either under the skin or into a muscle.

Use in children: Ask your paediatrician. I may need to be more careful.

Overdosage: If you suspect that you have taken an overdose of this medication, contact a poison control centre or emergency room immediately.
