Erlotero 150mg Tablet

Erlotero 150mg Tablet is used to treat Certain Types Of Cancer, and other conditions. Erlotero 150mg Tablet contains Erlotinib as an active ingredient. Erlotinib is a targeted therapy that works by blocking the function of the epidermal growth factor receptor to stop cancer cells from growing and spreading.

• Pancreatic Cancer

How does Erlotero 150mg Tablet work?

Erlotinib works by blocking the EGFR tyrosine kinase that is overactive in some cancers. Erlotinib inhibits this enzyme and decreases the survival and proliferation of cancer cells.

How to Use & Dosage

100 mg or 150 mg once daily, depending on the indication. It should be taken either two hours after a meal or at least one hour before a meal. Dosing must be at the same time each day to be effective.

Swallow erlotinib tablets whole with a full glass of water on an empty stomach (at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals). Avoid grapefruit juice. Take your prescription as instructed on the label, do not stop taking it or change the dose without first talking to your doctor.

Discuss the use of this medication in children with your paediatrician. May require extra care.

🍺 Alcohol

It is not known if it is safe to take an Erlotero 100mg Tablet with alcohol. Consult your healthcare professional.
