Product Description

Aztrohigh 2gm Injection is an Antibiotic injection and it contains Aztreonam. It is used to prevent or treat various bacterial infections like infections of the blood, brain, ears, skin, belly, bones, lungs and urinary tract.

  • Infections caused by susceptible Gram-negative bacteria
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Respiratory tract infections
  • Intra-abdominal infections
  • Skin and soft tissue infections

How does Aztrohigh 2gm Injection work?

Aztreonam works by stopping the production of the bacterial cell wall. It binds to penicillin binding proteins in the bacterial cell wall and causes the cell to lyse and die . Its monobactam structure makes it resistant against several bacterial beta-lactamases and thus more effective against resistant strains.
