How does a Gemtero 200gm Injection work?

Gemcitabine is a nucleoside analog that interferes with DNA synthesis. This blocks DNA polymerase and thus prevents DNA strand elongation. Which prevents apoptosis (programmed cell death) and cell cycle halt and integrate into DNA.


How to Use & Dosage

Administered by IV infusion over a specific period, typically 30 minutes. It depends on the type of cancer and the treatment protocol.

This medicine is given by infusion into a vein. It is given in a hospital or clinic by a medical expert with special training.

Talk to your doctor about the use of this medicine in children. Additional caution may be necessary.

If you think you may have taken too much of this medication, call your emergency room or poison control center at once.
