Product Description

Bevatas 100mg Injection is a monoclonal antibody used for the treatment of cancer and contains Bevacizumab. It works by blocking angiogenesis, the process by which cancers develop their own blood supply to grow and spread.

Uses of Bevatas 100mg Injection:

  • Metastatic Colorectal Cancer
  • Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
  • Breast Cancer
  • Glioblastoma
  • Ovarian Cancer

How does Bevatas 100mg Injection work?

Bevacizumab targets vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), a protein responsible for the formation of new blood vessels. By binding to VEGF, it prevents VEGF from attaching to its receptors on endothelial cells, thereby inhibiting the growth of new blood vessels that tumors require for nourishment and growth. This helps slow tumor progression and reduce the spread of cancer.

How to Use & Dosage

The dosage depends on the type of cancer being treated, the patient’s body weight, and overall health condition. Bevatas 100mg Injection is administered as a slow intravenous (IV) infusion under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional. The infusion rate may be adjusted based on the patient’s tolerance.

Bevacizumab is generally administered once every 2 to 3 weeks. Your oncologist will determine the appropriate dosage schedule according to your treatment plan.

Serious infusion-related reactions may occur. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience symptoms such as headache, dizziness, chest pain, flushing, itching, skin rash, hives, chills, shivering, sweating, or difficulty breathing during or after the infusion.
