Borviz 2mg Injection

Borviz 2mg Injection contains Bortezomib, an anticancer medicine used to treat some blood cancers.

How does a Borviz 2mg Injection work?

Bortezomib is a proteasome inhibitor. Its action is to block the proteasome, a cell structure which breaks down ubiquitinated proteins. This leads to the build-up of pro-apoptotic proteins and cell cycle regulators, ultimately causing apoptosis (programmed cell death) in malignant cells, particularly in those with hematologic malignancies. Consult a health care practitioner for specific treatment regimens.

How to Use & Dosage

Administered intravenously or subcutaneously.

Your dose plan will depend on your disease, other drugs you are taking and how your body responds to therapy.

Describe how you feel to your doctor while you are having therapy

Your doctor may hold or decrease your dose of bortezomib if you develop adverse reactions.

• Fatigue
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Numbness
• Tingling
• Pain
• Thrombocytopenia
• Neutropenia
• Anemia
• Heart failure
• Deep vein thrombosis

Pregnancy Borviz 2 mg Injection is not recommended for use in pregnancy as there is strong evidence of risk to the developing baby. Please discuss with your healthcare professional.

🤱 Breastfeeding

Borviz 2 mg Injection is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Please contact your health care professional.

🍷 Alcohol

Borviz 2 mg Injection of alcohol may make you very drowsy. Please discuss with your healthcare provider.

Storage Instructions:

Store in a refrigerator (2°C to 8°C); Don’t freeze. Shielding from the light.
