Cazanat 40mg Tablet is a medicine which has Cabozantinib as an active element. Cabotinib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) that has been used to treat various cancer types by targeting many receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) that are involved in tumour growth, metastasis, and angiogenesis.

How does the Cazanat 40mg Tablet work?

Cabotinib blocks several tyrosine kinases including MET, VEGFR and RET which are involved in several pathways which are essential for tumor cell development and angiogenesis (creation of blood vessels). Cabozantinib can block these kinases to reduce the blood supply to tumors and slow the growth and spread of cancer cells.


How to Use & Dosage

The usual dosage of Cazanat is 40 mg once daily, depending on the cancer being treated and patient characteristics such as liver or renal function. It should be taken on an empty stomach, at least two hours before or after food.

Cabozantinib is a pill that is typically given once a day, either one hour before or two hours after meals, on an empty stomach. Pay close attention to what your doctor tells you, and don’t change the dosage without consulting your doctor.

Drink a full glass of water and swallow the tablets whole. Avoid opening, crushing, chewing, and splitting them.

Cazanat 40mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during pregnancy. Please consult with your physician.


Storage Instructions

Store at 15°C-30°C (59°F-86°F). Store in a dry place, away from light and moisture.
