Chemodoc 120mg Injection is a chemotherapy medication used to treat many types of cancer like breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, prostate cancer, gastric cancer and head and neck cancer.

How does a Chemodoc 120mg Injection work?

Docetaxel works by promoting the assembly of microtubules from tubulin dimers and by inhibiting their dissociation. It works by stabilizing the microtubules and inhibiting their normal function in the process of mitosis or cell division. This prevents cancer cells from growing and dividing and leads to the death of the cell.

How to Use & Dosage

Docetaxel is usually given based on the patient’s body surface area (BSA), but the dosage will depend on the type of cancer being treated and the course of treatment. Given as an infusion using an intravenous (IV). It is provided by a specially trained medical professional who works in a hospital or clinic.

Talk to your pediatrician about the use of this medicine in children. You may have to be very careful.

Safety Advise:

🫀 Liver

Hepatic impairment: Dose adjustment in hepatic impairment may be required. Routine monitoring of liver function during therapy is recommended. Consult your doctor.

🫘 Kidney

Dose adjustments may be required in patients with renal impairment. Kidney function should be checked routinely during treatment. Please speak with your healthcare provider.

🤰 Pregnancy

Docetaxel is not recommended in pregnancy as it may harm the fetus. Please consult your health care provider.

🤱 Breast Feeding

Chemodoc 120mg Injection is not safe to use during breast-feeding. The data shows the drug may be toxic to the baby. Talk to your doctor.

🍺 Alcohols

Do not drink alcohol while taking Chemodoc 120mg Injection. Discuss with your health care provider.

Storage Instructions:

Store vial in the refrigerator (2°C to 8°C [36°F to 46°F]). Don’t freeze. Store in the dark.
