How does the CTX-GLS 200mg Injection work?
Cyclophosphamide works by preventing fast dividing cells from replicating their DNA. Cancer cells are fast dividing cells. It cross-links the DNA strands, which stops the cells from proliferating and eventually kills them. Cyclophosphamide can have side effects because it affects healthy cells as well as malignant cells. The effects are most noticeable in tissues with a rapid turnover, such as bone marrow and hair.
