Elores 3gm injection is a combination of Ceftriaxone, Disodium edetate, Sulbactam it is used in the treatment of various bacterial infections like Respiratory tract infections, Skin and soft tissue infections, Urinary tract infections etc.

How does Elores 3gm injection work?

Ceftriaxone is a third generation cephalosporin antibiotic and acts as a bactericidal agent by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis. Often used in combination with sulbactam, a beta-lactamase inhibitor that inhibits some bacteria, which are resistant to destruction by ceftriaxone, to increase the effectiveness of ceftriaxone. Also it acts as a stabiliser to lower the toxicity and to increase the stability of the whole antibiotic. These factors lead to an increasing effectiveness of treatment of bacterial infections.

How to Use & Dosage

Administered by a medical practitioner by intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) injection. Duration and dose of treatment depends on the nature of the infection and characteristics of the patient.
