Enfiera 100mg Injection

Enfiera 100mg Injection is a monoclonal antibody (Rituximab) used to treat certain cancers and autoimmune diseases.

Uses of Enfiera 100mg Injection:

• Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
• Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
• Rheumatoid Arthritis
• Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (GPA) and Microscopic Polyangiitis (MPA)
• Pemphigus Vulgaris

How does an Enfiera 100mg Injection work?

Rituximab targets the CD20 antigen on B-lymphocytes (B-cells), which play a role in normal immune function, and in the development of some cancers, such as non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and CLL. Rituximab binds to CD20, causing B-cell death in several ways. One is direct apoptosis (cell death). The other pathways involve activation of the complement system, and the attraction of immune cells to kill the antibody-tagged B-cells.

How to Use & Dosage:

This medicine is given as a shot into a vein by a health care professional in a hospital or clinic. Each time you receive a treatment you will be given a special Medication Guide. Be sure to read it.

Ask your health care provider about giving this medication to children. For some conditions it may be given to children as young as 6 months, but there are specific precautions to follow.

If you overdose, call your local poison control center immediately, or go to the nearest emergency room.

Rituximab can harm the fetus and should only be used during pregnancy if clearly needed. Please talk to your health care provider.

🤱 Breast feeding

Nursing mothers should not be given a 100mg injection of Enfiera unless it is really needed. Consult your doctor.

🍺 Alcohol

Storage Instructions:

Store in a refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C. Do not shake or freeze the vial.
