: Enzamide 40mg Capsule is a medicine which contains Enzalutamide. It is used in the treatment of Prostate Cancer. Your doctor may also prescribe it for other uses. It blocks the action of testosterone and other male hormones.


Uses of Enzamide 40mg Capsule:

  • Metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer.
  • Non-metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer.

How does an Enzamide 40mg Capsule work?

Enzalutamide blocks the androgen receptor. It prevents the action of androgens, such as testosterone, at the receptor site and thus blocks the growth and spread of prostate cancer cells.


How to Use & Dosage

By mouth as a single daily dose. The capsules should be swallowed whole (do not chew or open the capsule) with or without food.

Take this medicine by mouth. Take it at the same time every day as directed on the prescription label. This medication should not be cut, crushed, or chewed. Do not crush or chew the pills. It can be taken with or without food. If it makes you feel sick take it with food. Unless advised otherwise by your healthcare practitioner, continue taking it.

It is not known if Enzamide injection affects the ability to drive. Please speak with your healthcare provider.
