How does a Femistra 1mg Tablet work?
Anastrozole blocks the aromatase enzyme that converts androgens to oestrogens in the body. By reducing estrogen levels, Anastrozole helps to slow or stop the growth of estrogen-sensitive tumors.
How to Use & Dosage
1 mg orally once a day. The tablet should be swallowed with water, with or without food. How long treatment lasts depends on how well the person is doing and how well treatment is working. Treatment often lasts several years.
Take this medication by mouth with water as directed on the prescription label. If you experience stomach upset, take with food at regular intervals and continue until your doctor tells you to stop.
Ask your doctor or chemist about the medicines used in children. Perhaps more care is needed.
