How does Magnex Forte 1.5gm Injection work?

The third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic cefoperazone inhibits the formation of the bacterial cell wall, causing cell death. It is often used in combination with sulbactam, a beta-lactamase inhibitor that prevents some resistant bacteria from destroying ceftriaxone. The formulation also contains disodium edetate that is used as a stabiliser that reduces toxicity and increases the general stability of the antibiotic. These elements mutually complement each other and enhance the efficiency of treatment of bacterial infections.
