How does Merrobe 500mg Injection work?

Meropenem is a carbapenem antibiotic that kills the bacterium by preventing the formation of the bacterial cell wall. It is highly effective against a wide variety of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including bacteria that are resistant to other antibiotics.


How to Use & Dosage

Given by injection into a vein. Dosage depends on type and severity of infection, kidney function, and patient age. Administered usually every 8 hours.
