How does Mikastar 500mg Injection work?
Mikastar 500mg Injection is an antibiotic. It works by stopping the formation of bacterial proteins. It binds to the bacterial 30S ribosomal subunit and inhibits the production of vital proteins and this results in the death of the bacterial cell. It is effective against a large number of germs owing to its bactericidal action.
How to Use & Dosage

When given intravenously it is generally infused (given slowly) over a period of 30 to 60 minutes. The length of your therapy depends on the type of infection you have.
