Razone-ES 1.5gm Injection

Razone-ES 1.5gm Injection contains Cefoperazone, Sulbactam and is used for the Treatment of respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections, and other bacterial infections.

How does Razone-ES 1.5gm Injection work?

Cefoperazone is a third generation cephalosporin antibiotic that inhibits the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall leading to cell death. To enhance its efficacy, it is often combined with sulbactam, a β-lactamase inhibitor that prevents some resistant bacteria from breaking down ceftriaxone. Disodium edetate is also used as a stabilizer in this formulation which reduces the toxicity and enhances the general stability of the antibiotic. These components work together to improve the efficacy of the treatment of bacterial infections.

How to Use & Dosage

Given by a medical practitioner by intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) injection. The duration of treatment and the quantity of drug used depend on the type of infection and on the patient’s characteristics.
