Trumab 440mg Injection is a monoclonal antibody called Trastuzumab. It is mainly used to treat HER2-positive cancers including breast and gastric cancer.

How does a Trumab 440mg Injection work?
It targets the HER2 receptor, a protein that is over-expressed on the surfaces of some cancer cells. Trastuzumab binds to HER2 and blocks signalling pathways that drive cell growth and survival, and marks the cells for immune destruction, thus reducing tumour growth.
How to Use & Dosage
The protocol consists of 8 mg/kg followed by 6 mg/kg every three weeks as a maintenance dose. Given as a drip into a vein. The first drips are given slowly to see if there are any side effects.
The medication is given through a vein (intravenously). It is administered by a medical professional specially trained in a hospital or clinic setting.
Ask your paediatrician about using this medicine in children. This drug is not approved for use in children.

Breastfeeding should be avoided because the drug can be excreted in breast milk. Talk to your doctor.
Storage Instructions:
Store Trumab Injection in the refrigerator (2-8°C), protected from light. Do not freeze.
