Versavo 400mg Injection

Versavo 400mg Injection is a cancer medicine which contains Bevacizumab. It is a monoclonal antibody. It works to inhibit angiogenesis. That’s how cancers grow their own blood supply.

How does a Versavo 400mg Injection work?

It finds and attaches to vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), a protein that promotes the growth of blood vessels. Bevacizumab attaches to VEGF and stops it from attaching to the VEGFRs on the endothelial cells. This stops angiogenesis and the growth and spread of tumors.

How to Use & Dosage

Dose may vary according to the type of cancer being treated and the general condition of the patient. Bevacizumab is administered as a slow intravenous infusion and the infusion rate can be adjusted for tolerance.

Bevacizumab injection is a liquid that is given slowly into a vein by a health care professional. It is usually given every two to three weeks. The schedule of doses will be adjusted depending on your individual condition and response to treatment.

Infusion of Bevacizumab injectable products can cause serious side effects. Tell your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following symptoms: headaches, dizziness, chest discomfort, flushing, itching, rash, hives, chills, shivering, sweating, difficulty breathing. Your doctor may need to decrease the rate of your infusion or delay or stop your treatment if you have these or other side effects.

• Fatigue
• Diarrhea
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Fever
• Dizziness
• Increased risk of bleeding

Hepatic impairment: Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment; dosage adjustment may be necessary. Please consult your health care provider.

🩺 Kidney

In patients with renal impairment, caution should be exercised and dosage adjustment may be necessary. Please consult your health professional.

🤰 Pregnancy

It should only be used if absolutely necessary as its safety in pregnancy has not been well established. Please consult with your health care provider.

🤱 Breastfeeding

It is not known if it is safe to use Versavo Injection when breastfeeding. Please talk with your health care provider.

🍷 Alcohol

It is not recommended to consume alcohol when using Versavo Injection. Please ask your health care provider.

Storage Instructions:

Store Versavo Injection in the original package, in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight, at room temperature between 20°C and 25°C.
