Product Description
Wepox 10000 IU Injection contains Human recombinant Erythropoetin Alfa, a synthetic version of a natural hormone called erythropoietin. It primarily serves to treat anemia, which is a low red blood cell count, brought on by chemotherapy, chronic renal disease, and other illnesses. The injection helps to lessen anemia symptoms like fatigue and weakness by encouraging the bone marrow to create more red blood cells.
Mechanism of Action :
By attaching to erythropoietin receptors on erythroid progenitor cells in the bone marrow, human recombinant erythropoietin Alfa (Epoetin Alfa) increases the generation of red blood cells. This binding stimulates the proliferation and development of these progenitor cells by activating intracellular signaling pathways, including the JAK2/STAT5 pathway. Consequently, Epoetin Alfa improves hemoglobin levels and red blood cell synthesis, which improves the blood’s ability to carry oxygen and reduces anemic symptoms.
