Product Description

Zoladex 3.6mg Injection contains Goserelin acetate, a synthetic hormone and gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) analogue.

Uses of Zoladex 3.6mg Injection:

  • Prostate Cancer
  • Breast Cancer
  • Endometriosis
  • Uterine Fibroids

How does Zoladex 3.6mg Injection work?

Zoladex works by preventing the pituitary gland from releasing gonadotropins (FSH and LH). This reduces the production of sex hormones (oestrogen in women and testosterone in men), thereby lowering hormone levels and slowing the growth of hormone-dependent conditions.

How to Use & Dosage

Zoladex is normally given as a subcutaneous injection (implant under the skin) every month or every three months, depending on the indication and treatment regimen. It is administered by a qualified healthcare professional.

This medicine uses a small implant that slowly releases Goserelin into the body. The implant is injected under the skin of the lower abdomen, just below the belly button, and is gradually absorbed by the body over several weeks or months.

Use this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The 3.6mg implant is generally administered every 4 weeks, while the longer-acting formulation is given every 12 to 13 weeks. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully and do not stop treatment without medical advice.
