Uses of Ematra Softgel Capsule

  • Acute promyelocytic leukemia

How does the Ematra Softgel Capsule work?

Tretinoin induces differentiation of immature carcinogenic cells and inhibits their growth by acting on certain receptors in these cells. Tretinoin helps to unblock the promyelocyte differentiation that is blocked by the PML-RARα fusion protein in APL, enabling the leukemic cells to mature into viable blood cells.
