How does Pazopanib 400mg Tablet work?
Pazopanib is a multi-kinase inhibitor of Vascular endothelial growth factor receptors, Platelet-derived growth factor receptors and Fibroblast growth factor receptors. Pazopanib blocks these pathways to slow tumor growth and prevent the formation of new blood vessels that tumors need to grow.
How to Use & Dosage
Pazopanib oral tablets are generally taken once a day. For optimal absorption, take it on an empty stomach, either one hour before meals or two hours after meals. The usual initial dose of pazopanib is 400 mg once daily, but this may vary according to the indication.
Take this medicine by mouth with a glass of water. Use the directions on the label of the medicine. Do not cut, crush or chew this medication. Take this medicine on an empty stomach, 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. Do not take along with food.
Don’t take grapefruit juice with it. Take your medication regularly. Do not use this product more often than directed. Do not stop unless your doctor tells you to.
If you think you have used too much of this medicine go to the nearest poison control center or emergency room.
