How does a Pomalid 1mg Capsule work?
Pomalidomide works in a complicated way, by stimulating the immune system and also by acting directly against the cancer. It boosts the immune response of the body against cancer cells by activating T-cells and natural killer cells. It also stops multiple myeloma cells growing and causes apoptosis by blocking critical signaling pathways which promote cancer cell growth. It also inhibits angiogenesis, which reduces the blood supply to the tumor, needed for its growth.
