How does the Soranib 200mg Tablet 30’s work?
Sorafenib is a multi-kinase inhibitor that targets receptor tyrosine kinases involved in tumour angiogenesis and tumour growth. It mainly inhibits:
- Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor (VEGFR)
- Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Receptor (PDGFR)
- Raf kinase, a component of the MAPK/ERK signalling pathway
By blocking these pathways, Sorafenib helps prevent tumour growth, reduces the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis), and promotes programmed cell death (apoptosis) in cancer cells.
