How does Ujvira 100mg Injection work?
It targets the HER2 receptor, a protein which is overexpressed on the surface of some cancer cells. Trastuzumab connects to HER2 and inhibits the signaling pathways that stimulate cell growth and survival, slowing down tumor growth and labeling the cells for destruction by the immune system.
How to Use & Dosage
The dose is based on body weight and is usually given intravenously every three weeks. Treatment plan and dose may be influenced by clinical guidelines and individual needs.
The drug is given by injection into a vein. It is given by a trained health professional in a hospital or clinic.
Ask your pediatrician about the use of this medication in children. It is not indicated for use in children.
