Canrib 100mg Tablet is a medicine that contains Olaparib. It is used to treat breast and ovarian cancer. It blocks the PARP enzyme which helps in repair of damaged DNA in cancer cells.
Swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush, chew or split the tablet. They may be taken with or without food. Take it regularly at the same time every day as directed by your doctor.

How does Canrib 100mg work?
Olaparib works by inhibiting PARP enzymes which are involved in DNA repair processes. Olaparib works by blocking these enzymes so that cancer cells cannot repair their damaged DNA. This causes the cell to die, especially in those cells which do not already have DNA repair systems in place due to BRCA mutations.
How to Use & Dosage
Canrib is the oral form of administration with or without meals. Do not chew or crush the pills. Swallow them whole. The usual dose of Olaparib is 300 mg by mouth twice daily. The dose may change depending on the patient’s condition and treatment plan.
Drink this medicine with a full glass of water. Do not chew, crush or cut this medication. May be taken with or without food. If you feel nausea, take with food. However, avoid grapefruit juice, grapefruit, and Seville oranges while using this medication.
Stick to your medicine regularly. Do not use it more often than prescribed. Do not stop taking it except on advice of your physician. Talk to your doctor about the use of this medication in children. More care may be required.
