How does Mycofit-S 360mg Tablet work?

Mycophenolate sodium is an inhibitor of an enzyme which stimulates the growth of lymphocytes, immune cells which attack foreign tissue.Mycophenolate lowers immunological responses by reducing the creation of lymphocytes, which helps to keep the body from rejecting the transplanted organ.


How to Use & Dosage?

Dosages can vary depending on the transplant organ and patient requirements, but for kidney transplant recipients, the usual recommendation is 720 mg twice a day. taken orally, unless directed otherwise by your health professional, preferably on an empty stomach for best absorption.

Read the Medication Guide provided by your pharmacist before you start taking mycophenolate, and each time you get a refill. Ask your pharmacist or physician if you have any questions. Usually this medication is taken by mouth twice a day on an empty stomach, one hour before or two hours after meals, as directed by your doctor.

Do not break the medicine. Do not crush or chew. Do not open the capsules before swallowing when you are taking them.Your dose depends on your medical condition and how you respond to treatment. In addition, the dose for children depends on their body size.

Storage Instructions:

Store at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F). Store in tight containers, protected from moisture and light.
