Uses of Tygaray 50mg Injection:

  • Complex infections of the skin and soft tissues
  • Complicated intra-abdominal infections
  • Community-acquired pneumonia

How does Tygaray 50mg Injection work?

Tigecycline binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit and inhibits bacterial protein synthesis. This essentially prevents bacterial growth by blocking the addition of amino acids to the growing peptide chain.

How to Use & Dosage?

50 mg IV infusion every 12 hours usually over 30 to 60 minutes. The duration of treatment depends on the type and severity of the infection and is usually 5 to 14 days.

Tigecycline injections can be given at home or in a hospital, provided a healthcare professional gives the right instructions on how to administer the medication and handle any problems.

During the first few days of treatment with injectable tigecycline, you should start to feel better. Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or get worse.
