Cazanat 60mg Tablet

Cabozantinib is the active ingredient of Cazanat 60mg Tablet. The tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) cabozantinib is used to treat various types of cancer by inhibiting a large number of receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) that are involved in tumor growth, metastasis and angiogenesis.

How does the Cazanat 60mg Tablet work?

Cabozantinib inhibits several tyrosine kinases, including MET, VEGFR and RET, that have been implicated in several pathways important in tumor cell development and angiogenesis (creation of blood vessels). Inhibiting these kinases can starve tumors of blood supply and stop the growth and spread of cancer cells.

How to Use & Dosage

Depending on the type of cancer to be treated and patient characteristics such as renal or liver function, the recommended dose of Cazanat is 60 mg once daily. It must be taken on an empty stomach, at least two hours before or after a meal.

Pay close attention to what your doctor says, and don’t change the dosage without talking to your doctor.

Take tablets whole with a full glass of water. Do not crush, chew, split or open them.

Liver impairment: Dose adjustment may be necessary in patients with liver impairment and liver function should be monitored regularly. Consult your doctor.

If you have kidney problems your dose may need to be changed. It is also recommended that your kidney function is checked on a regular basis. Please consult with your health care provider.

🤰 Pregnancy

There are no data on the use of cabozantinib in pregnant women. Please consult your health care provider.

🤱 Breast Feeding

Cazanat 60mg Tablet is possibly unsafe to use when breast-feeding. Please consult your healthcare provider.

🍺 Alcohol

It is not known whether it is safe to take a Cazanat 60mg Tablet with alcohol. Discuss with your health care provider.

Storage Instructions

Store between 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F). Store in a dry place away from direct light and moisture.
