Xtane 25mg Tablet contains Exemestane is used in the treatment of breast cancer in postmenopausal women by controlling the levels of oestrogen and stopping the growth of cancer cells.

If you have not gone through menopause, have liver or kidney problems, or are taking other medicines that may interfere with the effect of Xtane Tablet, tell your doctor before you take it. Also, tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. They may want to do blood tests to check your vitamin D levels or bone density.

How does the Xtane 25mg Tablet work?

Exemestane is an aromatase inhibitor. It works by permanently binding to the enzyme aromatase, which is involved in the conversion of androgens to oestrogens. Exemestane works by lowering the amount of oestrogen in the body, which helps to prevent the growth of cancers that rely on oestrogen to grow.

Take this medication with a full glass of water. Use this medication as directed on the prescription label. Take your medicines after food at regular intervals. Do not take your medicine more often than directed. Do not stop taking unless told to do so by your physician or other health care provider.

Ask your doctor about the use of this medicine in children. May need to be extra careful. If you think you have taken too much of this medicine , go to the emergency room or call a poison control centre immediately .


How to Use & Dosage

Swallow the entire tablet with water. It is important to take it at regular intervals, at the same time each day. The usual recommended dose is 25 mg once a day (preferably after meals to aid absorption).

🍷 Alcohol

🚗 Driving

Other possible effects of Xtane Tablets are blurred vision, sleepiness, and reduced alertness. If you experience these symptoms, do not drive. See your physician.
