How does Siromus 1mg Tablet work?
Sirolimus prevents T-lymphocytes from being activated and multiplying in response to antigen and cytokine stimulation. Sirolimus prevents the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) from functioning, and mTOR is a key regulator of cell growth and metabolism.
How to Use & Dosage?
For kidney transplantation, a loading dose of usually 6 mg on the day of transplantation followed by a maintenance dose of 2 mg once daily may be administered. Siromus oral tablets may be taken with or without meals. Consistency is king when it comes to meals.
Take this medication by mouth with no more than 4 ounces of plain water at the same time each day, right after waking up, as directed by your doctor. Swallow the tablets whole and do not eat or drink or take any other drugs for at least half an hour.
